IoTailor Safr City

A city’s cameras, alarms, fleets, access control, incident reports and environmental sensors each live in their own console, watched by their own team. When something happens the picture has to be reassembled by hand — phone calls between agencies, one screen at a time — precisely when speed matters most. IoTailor Safr City is Risk Factor’s orchestration platform: it connects the systems you already run, absorbs the ones you deploy next, and turns them into a single operating picture with a single set of rules behind it.

To orchestrate is to direct heterogeneous systems from one score so that they play the symphony you intended. IoTailor Safr City sits above your estate rather than replacing it, covering the legacy systems you cannot retire, the present ones you are rolling out now, and the future ones you have not chosen yet. Business rules and workflows run on top, so detecting, investigating and resolving an event becomes one continuous, auditable process instead of a relay between disconnected consoles. It deploys on any cloud or in your own data centre, scales without a hard ceiling, supports role-based access across agencies, and is configured rather than rebuilt as your estate changes.

What your control room gets:

One picture of the whole city: a Common Operational Picture that puts every feed, unit and open incident on one real-time screen, configured around what your operators actually need — with the detail behind anything on it one click away.

Detection before escalation: every connected subsystem is watched continuously and anomalies are flagged the moment they occur, on your rules — threshold, location, alarm state, or a combination of factors — and notified by screen, sound, message or email. Nobody has to watch a wall of screens to catch what matters.

Protocolised response: a Standard Operating Procedure opens with the incident and walks the operator through it step by step, interacting with the connected subsystems and sensors directly as it advances, and timestamping each step for the record. Tasks and actions can also be scheduled ahead. Response quality stops depending on who is on shift.

Investigation and forensics: search history the way an investigator thinks — by device, person or vehicle; what else was present at the same time and place; the associations between them; origin-and-destination and route maps; detection heat maps and a crime map; the CCTV attached to any detection. Findings collect into case files with a workflow behind them.

Dashboards, KPIs and analytics on the map: a Business Intelligence engine is built in, for live and historical KPIs shown in charts or rendered straight onto the territory — immediate statistics, comparison against past or normalised values, and full control of zones and colour coding. The KPIs raise alerts of their own when they drift.

Prediction, prescription and correlation: trend and evolution analysis over time, models that flag what is about to happen and prescribe the recommended response, correlation across heterogeneous systems so the city reads as one organism, and automatic filtering of false alerts.

The payoff is measurable where it counts: lower incident impact because reaction times fall, early warning instead of after-the-fact reporting, every agency working from one version of events, contractors billed against verified performance, consumption predicted and leaks caught early — and a dashboard you can put in front of citizens as an accountability tool.

Deliverables

1. Systems and data integration audit

An inventory of every subsystem, sensor and data source in scope, with the integration approach, effort and sequence for each.

2. Platform deployment

IoTailor Safr City stood up on your cloud or in your own data centre, across availability zones, with role-based access control and secure communications configured.

3. Common Operational Picture

Your operational view built and tuned: maps, layers, live feeds, and the single-click path from any event to the detail behind it.

4. Alert rules, agency matrix and SOP library

The rules that decide what counts as an anomaly, who gets notified and how, and the step-by-step procedures each agency follows for every scenario in scope.

5. Dashboards, KPIs and reporting

The KPI set that matters to your organisation, wired into live dashboards and scheduled reports, with alerting on the KPIs themselves.

6. Operator enablement and continuous evolution

Hands-on training for control-room staff and administrators, plus ongoing support to add subsystems, refine rules and extend analytics as your estate grows.

Potential Use Cases

City safety command centre – C4/C5:

One unified view over CCTV and VMS, AVL and GPS fleets, CAD, alarm panels and citizen reports. Response is protocolised across every participating agency, voice, data and social-media channels are integrated, and reporting breaks down by incident type and by agency — with correlation, prediction and prescription layered on top.

Everyday city operations:

Public lighting, waste and street-cleaning contractors supervised and billed on verified performance, events raised by subsystems or by a citizen app, mobility and public transport optimisation, water and energy savings, carbon footprint calculation, and protection of green, blue and vulnerable zones.

Critical infrastructure and perimeter:

Unified supervision of CCTV, perimeter protection, access control, people and asset location and alarm panels, with 2D and 3D building models, satellite monitoring for change detection, and protocolised responses for incidents, alarms and evacuations.

Logistics control tower:

Cargo, vehicle, driver, route and delivery linked as one chain: real-time unit tracking, warehouse activity, container status, geofenced areas and routes, arrival-time prediction against live traffic and weather, and early warning when a delay is forming.
